This Is My 'Now Taking Bookings For Autumn Term' Post
"I know how busy you get so thought I better get in now!"
That's what one school leader said to me yesterday as they booked in a combined development day and after-school CPD session.
I'd like to think that the relief of being able to book a day with me is less to do with my availability and more to do with the value added during my previous visits. I can but hope!
Anyway, I took another booking for September INSET yesterday and realised now is the time that school leaders are getting this stuff sorted, so I thought I'd better let you know that I am available in the autumn term* and beyond if you'd like to get me along to work with you and your staff.
What Do I Do?
What can I help you with? Well, my blog is a snapshot of the sorts of things I've worked with schools and organisations on - anything I write is usually inspired by work I've done with teachers and leaders in real life.
But if you were after specifics, my favourite things to collaborate on are:
Curriculum development, especially interconnected curricula (I love all the subjects!)
Leadership development - I've been doing lots of subject leadership development recently
Pedagogy development - let's have a look round your school together and identify the best next steps for supporting your staff in their work with your children
CPD
I also do a fair bit of CPD delivery on pedagogy - planning and teaching, particularly on planning for sequences of learning, inclusive teaching, adaptive and responsive teaching, the importance of formative assessment and such like - all that good stuff.
Collaborative
I offer both remote and in-person services but it's always highly collaborative - for me this job is all about the people, and particularly empowering school staff so that they can enhance their offer and enrich the lives of the children they work with.
