Motivated and inspired teachers enter their classrooms each day with optimism, ready to teach children, knowing that they can make a difference in their lives. It's not only appreciation that spurs school staff on either; the biggest motivator is success, so when trainees, teachers, leaders and support staff are reminded of their impact and the importance of their role they go back to school rejuvenated and ready to teach well. But teachers are learners too - they love to learn, and they need to learn. School staff encourage children to step outside of their comfort zones, and to challenge themselves, and teachers need that too. Good presentations and keynote speeches not only inspire but they inform as well, giving teachers and leaders new ideas and clear actionable steps as they return to the classroom. Aidan has spoken at a number of educational events, presenting on a range of subjects including reading for empathy, developing a KS3 curriculum to aid transition and how to get feedback right in the classroom. His presentations are research- and experience-based, and contain just the right amount of humour. Aidan works with teachers and leaders on the following aspects of school life: Curriculum development - core and non-core subjects Teacher development - ECTs, RQTs, main scale and upper scale teachers Leadership development Pedagogy - teaching and learning, planning, assessment School culture and values Transition from primary to secondary school Please enquire if you have other workshop foci not listed. Often, Aidan's presentations and training are based on articles he has researched and written so if you have read something that you would like Aidan to present on, please get in touch. Aidan will devise and deliver a bespoke workshop which will inform and inspire delegates, ensuring that each one leaves with a wealth of ideas that they can use in their own practice. The workshop will be designed to model good teaching practice. To book a workshop, please use the 'request to book' button above. Alternatively you can email or call me using the details below.
